Classic Suibokuga is black and white. We also include painting with a touch of color, which you will find in flowers in this series.

Note the characteristic Sumi-e tonal transitions on the flower petals, which I achieved in one brushstroke. This is a feature that distinguishes Sumi-e from traditional watercolor. Similarly, I painted the leaves, on which you will notice an ink effect that gives the impression of three-dimensionality. This is also a feature of Sumi-e that you won’t find in “ordinary” ink lavage graphics.
